Als Teil der nordischen First Camp Gruppe ist Frigård ein gut organisierter Platz am Waldrand im Oksbøl-Gebiet, der einfachen Zugang zu den Blåvand-Stränden, dem Wattenmeer und – auf die unvermeidliche Anfrage hin – Legoland in Billund bietet, etwa eine Stunde landeinwärts. Der Platz selbst ist ruhig und grün mit breiten Kies- und Rasenstellplätzen, die für größere Wohnmobile dimensioniert sind, einem beheizten Außenpool, einer hellen Indoor-Spielscheune und einem gut sortierten Laden. Er ist eher eine praktische, komfortable Basis als ein Reiseziel an sich, und das ist auch ehrlich so kommuniziert.

Pitches are properly wide and level, service point is well designed, and nothing was broken. Not the most characterful site we have stayed at but it does everything right.

Hour to Billund, forty minutes to Blåvand, twenty to the Wadden Sea. The play barn saved two rainy afternoons. Shop prices are what you'd expect on a campsite.

Asked for something away from the pool and got a lovely shaded corner by the trees. Slept with the roof vent open every night listening to the woods.
