Gåsevig Strand Camping liegt in Sønderballe an der Südjütländischen Ostküste, an einem Hang, der direkt zu einem eigenen Badestrand am Kleinen Belt führt. Es ist ein wirklich familiär geführter Ort – der Strand wird den ganzen Sommer über gereinigt, Sonnenliegen und Sonnenschirme können kostenlos genutzt werden, und es gibt einen Badesteg, Kajakverleih sowie Bananenboot-, Tube- und Wasserski-Ausflüge vom Ufer aus. Viele Stellplätze bieten Blick auf das Wasser; andere liegen hinter Hecken für Schutz, sodass der Platz bei den meisten Wetterlagen funktioniert. Die nächsten größeren Städte, Haderslev und Aabenraa, sind beide 13 km entfernt, was den Verkehrslärm vollständig fernhält. Küchen, Aufenthaltsräume und Familienbäder wurden in den letzten Jahren renoviert, und es gibt ein Spielzimmer mit Lego, Puppen, Autos und einer PlayStation für nasse Nachmittage, plus einen Spielplatz, ein Hüpfkissen und einen Defibrillator vor Ort. Fünf Hütten sind neben Stellplätzen und Mietzelten verfügbar, und der Campingplatz hat eine Partnervereinbarung für den Eintritt in das Aabenraa Badeland und das Sportscentrum Aktivitätszentrum.

We have two children under six and this is the only site where we can genuinely relax. The water stays shallow for what feels like fifty metres, so they can wade on their own while we sit on the terrace with coffee. Facilities are simple but spotless.

No water slides, no disco, no entertainment team. Just a beautiful stretch of fjord and very friendly owners. The dog beach was a lovely surprise. Only note: pitches near the top of the site are a bit exposed on windy days.

Arrived on a whim on our way north and could not leave. Sunsets over the water are ridiculous. The little shop has proper bread in the morning.
