A kilometre of Garda lakefront on the edge of Peschiera
Bella Italia stretches along the southern shore of Lake Garda with roughly a kilometre of private waterfront, a large pool complex, a lakeside promenade lined with restaurants and a marina. Pitches sit under mature plane and olive trees, the best of them a few metres from the water. Peschiera del Garda's walled old town is a fifteen-minute walk or a short cycle along the shore, and Gardaland, Verona and the Sirmione peninsula are all inside half an hour. It is big, busy in August and very well drilled.
Value check: Split a mobile home between two families and the nightly cost drops below a mid-range pitch.

Paid the premium for a waterfront place and would do it again. Swimming in the lake before breakfast, Verona for the opera one evening, Gardaland another day. Superb location.

In late July it is full and the pool area is packed by ten. Everything still worked: clean sanitary blocks, fast wifi, friendly multilingual staff. Go in June if you can.
