Geirangerfjorden Feriesenter

On the water in Geiranger, with the fjord ferry from the doorstep

4.5(610)Est.95 pitchesFamilies · Nature lovers · CouplesOpen 1 May – 30 September

A family-run site strung along the shoreline just outside Geiranger village, where the pitches face straight out onto the UNESCO-listed fjord. It is small, steep in places, and unusually beautiful. Kayaks and small boats can be launched from the site, the village and its ferry quay are a fifteen-minute walk, and the Seven Sisters waterfall is a short boat ride down the fjord. The Trollstigen road and Dalsnibba viewpoint are both within an hour, which makes this a natural two- or three-night stop on a western fjords route rather than a week-long base.
