Walking distance from Odda centre, twenty minutes from the Trolltunga car park
A compact, no-frills site at the head of the Sørfjord, hemmed in by mountains on both sides. Most people here are doing one thing: Trolltunga. The site sits in Odda itself, so the supermarket, bakery and bus stop are a short walk away, and the P2 Skjeggedal car park is a twenty-minute drive up the valley. Pitches are level grass with power, the service building is clean and heated, and there is a drying room that earns its keep in Norwegian weather. Do not come expecting a resort — come expecting a well-run base camp with a hot shower waiting at the end of a very long day.
Value check: Norwegian prices are high across the board, and this is mid-range for the country rather than cheap.
